He was a long IMDB credit list. I'll remember him most for playing a villain in Superman and for playing Stanley on one of my favorite tv shows, Homicide.

He made it to 83, which ain't bad for a male.

Great in Homicide
Fantastic in Network

Frank Bonner of "WKRP"

His best quote: "We are definitely talking Cordoba."

Wow, that is a show that I haven't thought of in 30 years. What does that quote mean? I am not familiar with Cordoba.
At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent.

I will explain but you will hate yourself for missing it.

Chrysler Cordoba. An aspirational car for lower level white collar guys at the time. You wanted the Eldorado or Continental but the Cordoba was what you could get. Still 1970s personal luxury.

Herb was pitching a big client and calculated his commission, enough for a new Cordoba.

But you didn't mention "Corinthian leather".
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

The Thanksgiving episode in its first season is about the funniest thing they ever put on network TV. It was the turkey drop promotion if you remember it.

For those that do not know, the field report of Les in that episode is a spoof of the report on the Hindenberg disaster.
