$2650. Sheesh! Something is worth what you can get somebody else to pay for it. Whatever the auction closes for today would be a good gauge of that and I predict it closes around $1,000. Speaking of which, here is another phony auction. These are nice plates, I'll grant that, but $9,995?! No way. I'd put the value more like $2,000. Anyway, this guys keeps running this auction over and over and it never closes. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

Yeah, I forgot to gripe about that rule about not shipping. Just ridiculous. I saw another auction where a guy demanded a personal pick-up somewhere in New Hampshire for a set of plates that weren't even worth that much. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

Almost impossible to shill bid on Ebay now, it's a good way to get banned for life as a seller. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Those aren't Arabic numbers. They have their own symbols for numbers, but for license plates and very official purposes they use the same 0 to 9 that we use. The Chinese symbols are generally the province but sometimes other words like "police" or "rental car." Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |
