Much as I think Scott would take that spot, I don't think there's much chance he picks someone from Florida.

Biden is a lock for 2024 barring a crisis he does not handle well.
Outside of that, he will get a 2nd term.
Stock market zooming today due to weak inflation report. No doubt Tanko not happy and will try to rain on this parade :-)
If inflation dies down, Biden an absolute lock

I honestly don't care about the bet at all, but I sure hope you are wrong.

You use the word lock extremely liberally.

Biden was GREAT in his press conference post election. I’d love to see him go mano a mano against DeSantis. It would be regular politics, with both guys focused on the issues without childish name calling. I think it has just gotten much harder for anyone to ‘primary’ Biden. If Trump were a normal actual Republican, he wouldn’t ‘primary’ DeSantis. He’d be his biggest supporter. Their policies are as similar as can be.

Trump doesn't care if he ruins republican chances in 2022 or 2024
It's all about him
He craves the attention
He loves the attention
He's addicted to the attention
It's still Trumps party
He easily defeats Desantis

I’ll bet you whatever you want that Trump does not beat DeSantis for the Republican nomination for President, assuming both declare. Trump’s abject failure, and the abject failure of the majority of the candidates he selected, will be his undoing. Actually, his personality is his undoing.

I of course can be wrong. The stupidity of the Republican Party is pretty significant. I think that this election was the tipping point the Republican Party needed.

What Republican party?
It's a Trump cult and Trump party
Take Kari Lake
Slightly behind as votes are currently counted in AZ
Despite that she has already declared victory. She said her opponent has never had a lead in this race despite the AP having her opponent leading by 13k
Yup
It's a total bald faced lie totally ignoring reality.
On top of that she said Trump doesn't need to run again, he already won
Yup. Another lie
It's a trump cult and she is all in like all the other Trumpers.
If Lake loses, she will claim a rigged election and trumpers will believe her. Trumpers will continue to support Trump because any losses are due to rigged elections, not Trump

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/midterm-elections-2022/kari-lake-arizona-election-midterms-b2222593.html
Kari Lake goes on media blitz to insist she’s already won Arizona governor election despite real-time results
Pro-Trump former TV anchor actually still behind Katie Hobbs by more than 13,000 vote
https://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-us-canada-63588941
Lake, the candidate for Arizona governor, says Donald Trump shouldn't have to run again because his election was stolen
