It would be a horrible precedent. Not that there shouldn't be some immunity but unlimited immunity seems like it could be a disaster. |

Zero, His ego wouldn't allow it. I mean, one or more of his companies my declare bankruptcy, but never him. Not when there are so many willing sheep to fleece and he's about to put his DIL in charge of the RNC coffers. |

So, let's speculate on how the grift works..... Nominally 1000 pairs will be made and sold. That's not even half a million dollars. That's a HUGE red flag. How ir trumpy leveraging this? Maybe 45Footwear will wait for bootlegs to appear on amazon and the bay. Not even bothering to create any. Maybe 45Footwear will take payment for many thousands of pairs and place drop ship orders for delivery of the bootleg ones..... Or not even bother. Certainly, trump will make money somehow. Is 45Footwear just a shell company for laundering dirty money, bribes etc into his tiny hands? |

He gets a royalty on every pair sold. How much isn't publicly known. It could-but unlikely- also be a front for him to make off the books dinero. |

It's the scale of the operation that seems wrong. limited edition of 1000 pairs at $400 a pair. He doesn't own the company selling them, and it's already obvious they are just dumped out from China. Even if he got 100% of the retail price, that's not even half a million dollars. He wouldn't get out of bed for so little. This is not the real grift, somehow. More likely a publicity stunt for some other grift with a much richer payoff down the line. Or maybe just money laundering in plain sight. |
