OK, just joking, but maybe you should check with your priest [or whatever flavor of pastor] to make sure all this stuff you dip into is doing you no harm

It's a valid issue.

I think the secret is to be balanced in a dual environment (duality).

If one goes too far either way, there's extra risk.

There are three types of sicknesses that can occur.

Physical, mental, and spiritual.

Then there are professionals associated with each form.

Medical doctor, psychologist (psychiatrist), and priest (pastor, new age, etc).

Or a person can learn to do all three on their own, to a degree.

I've noticed atheists have less issues.

But the most important thing I've noticed, is confidentiality of the professional.

I'd say subliminal messaging is more dangerous on TV than with other negative messaging.

Just read 'As Max Saw It' by Louis Begley. It got positive reviews for the way he treated gays as characters ... I have to say I don't know why it didn't get thumbs down instead in that regard, maybe they didn't really read the book. Anyway, featured is the progression of someone with AIDS, but 'AIDS' is never mentioned. That made wonder exactly when it was that it was on the tip of everyone's tongue, did I remember right? ... but turns out it was clearly intentional that the reader should just figure out it was AIDS, considering when the book was written. Maybe it was to show that amongst these characters, it was like that: unsaid.

But in the process of looking it up, I got more informed about AIDS

>>>

HIV treatment, prevention have come a long way, and a cure is possible, researchers say. Barbara Lewis will never forget 1996. "That was the year when people stopped dying,” says Lewis, a physician assistant and HIV specialist at Whitman-Walker Health in Washington, D.C

Really clever simple design IMO What's the law concerning shooting an intruder in your home with a homemade crossbow-like weapon?

After reading about the serial killer who went into occupied houses in the 70s and was caught recently through DNA, I was impressed with his success rate of getting into a house without someone waking up. He was just lucky probably, but also I think, if someone is asleep, they don't realize they will not wake up to noises in the house as easily as they think. Because they were all were caught unaware in bed until he shined a bright flashlight into their face.

I'm having a problem with user manuals getting worse and worse these days. Sometimes there isn't one at all, you can't find it online either ... it wasn't just left out of the box. Good example: I bought a tire pump that runs on electricity from your car or house either one, nice. But for a manual it had a slip of paper with minimal instruction, written in bad english. I thought it was defective and almost took it back because I would have to keep pressing the buttons to get it to work, and I would smack it and stuff like that. Finally I realized you had to wait until the setting indicator quit flashing... this not mentioned in the instructions at all

this problem is worsening IMO and I find not much about it at all online, just things like this

>>>

What makes a bad user manual?

Bad user manuals are hard to read. You really need to put some effort to understand all the terms and break down long complex sentences. Terms are not explained, text contains just a few links/references. Good user manuals are checked with readability score tools
