Didn’t she have like one hit song 20 years ago?

Why do the righties think she can dictate what to do with the US flag? lol

No one ever heard of 'Junteenth' until Trump scheduled a rally on June 19th, last year, and they used it as an opportunity to call him a racist.

Now it's a Federal holiday.

That Whitey flag with its white stripes and white stars, is going down.

They can make another holiday and celebrate voting rights as well. End of slavery was definitely significant enough to celebrate as a holiday.

I enjoy Thanksgiving, but celebrating it as beginning of harvest, is the only part of it that is worth celebrating. It seems more like it represents the beginning of a failed effort to get along peacefully after meeting up.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Also i think it’s rather pompous to say someone discovered a land where people are already living. But you can still give credit for lots of things. Brave sailing, trading, etc:,

Who says she wasn’t already?

Ahem. Who says that, "They weren't?" Why are we making George Washington binary?

My only objection to the, "Non-Binary," thing is that it's grammatically incorrect to refer to a single person in the plural third-person pronoun sense. I guess I could understand why a person might not wish to be referred to as, "It," but I put it upon them to come up with a new grammatically correct third-person pronoun that denotes a single person in a non gender-specific way. Not my job.

DON'T YOU DARE SUGGEST WE GET RID OF THANKSGIVING!!!!!

That's my favorite holiday. It's the best holiday there is. Non-religious, shouldn't be political (but is sometimes made that way).

As many people as practicable (absolutely essential folks aside) just kicking back and enjoying my Six F's of Thanksgiving:

Family, Food, Fun, Friends and F%^#ing Football!

Yeah, 86 Columbus Day, instead.

I can definitely see changes to the flag in the next 100 years.

Now that we have a new holiday, we should remove an old one to balance things out.

Me, I vote for getting rid of Christmas.

It's a religious thing, not political thing; at least it SHOULD be.

The crass commericialism it engenders, while good for the economy, is too stressful, expensive and often guilt-inducing for we citizens.

I would not vote to get rid of Christmas, but I would be for changing the name and making it less religious.
