I don't think we are that close to Saudi Arabia We have capital punishment in this country if you haven't heard. Don't most countries have capital punishment? It’s interesting the link says “Close US ally” and then the article title just says “US ally.” Maybe Tyler Durden had a change of heart after posting. Uncle Joe is against capital punishment: I doubt he can do much to stop states from killing convicts convicted in state court, but I believe he's halted federal executions: be interesting to see if the Boston Maraton bomber gets his much-deserved final dirt nap: the USSC recently said the trial judge made no errors, so the skids are greased en route to the gallows, or whatever they plan to use to snuff out the spark in that piece of offal. https://www.npr.org/2022/03/04/1084514764/supreme-court-boston-bomber-death-sentence |

I don't mind if a case has a lot of conflicting evidence or testimony if they end up going to life sentence instead of a death sentence. But there's people advocating against the death penalty for people clearly guilty who have done things like chop their victims arms off before raping and killing them. I don't get that. They can gas them, electrocute them in the chair, or firing squad AFAIC. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |
