Judge rejects Amber Heard's request for new trial. I don't know if that means that's the end of it or not.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Judge Penny Azcarate ruled that there was "no evidence of fraud or wrongdoing" by the juror and that the jury's verdict should stand.

She also noted that both sides had questioned and accepted all jurors at the start of the trial.

I agree
You dont depend on a bio
You ask the jurror questions and their live answers actually determine if they are accepted

Trial courts generally are not as well-grounded in the subtle nuances of the law as are appellate courts.

Her lawyers say they'll appeal, but they had to file and argue all post-trial motions prior to filing a notice of appeal.

There is however one likely insurmountable problem: Heard must post an appeal bond in an amount over eight million, which she doesn't have.

I suspect they'll work out a deal where she publicly apologizes and Depp waives his judgment and she does not appeal.

Hell, they'll probably be back in the sack together again soon.

Celebrities.

AOC now understands that harassment of government officials is not a good thing.

The guy who harassed her deserved to be decked, but he did use only words, much like the people calling for horrid things to happen to Supreme Court Justices.

At least the guy was not outside her home.

Protest away. In decent society, people should know how to protest for what they are upset about without harassing anyone.

It is not like harassment is going to change anything. Protests do make a difference.

So what should be done about it?

The only way to get a liberal to take something seriously is when it is used against them.
The President is a fink.

Huge difference, the person who harassed her is an attention troll who basically makes such videos for Youtube. He did the same thing to Dan Crenshaw, calling him "eyepatch McCain", and others as well. He is basically a maga troll who is provocative to get attention.

Nothing
The right to peacefully protest in front of a house is practiced every single day in this country
I've talked to these protestors
They are in front of the White House 24 hours a day every day. It's a constitutionally protected right.
If your Constitutional rights allow you to protest peacefully in front of the President's house, how can you treat any other house differently
