Too many people are making fake trespassing signs in Wyoming, such that a law is being passed to fine people for doing it.

Quote:
As proposed, House Bill 147 would live among the statutes governing the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, and would be enforceable by wardens and other state-employed peace officers.

Hunters, anglers and the advocacy groups that represent them have lined up in support of the measure. Misleading private property signage is common enough on the landscape that hunters identified it as a top issue, according to a Backcountry Hunters and Anglers member survey that lobbyist Sabrina King referenced.

“It’s been interesting working on this bill because every person I talk to has a story about this: of encountering a sign that they believe is an improper ‘No Trespass’ sign,” King told the Senate committee.

HB 147 has encountered almost zero opposition from lawmakers during the session. It passed the House Travel, Recreation, Wildlife and Cultural Resources Committee in an 8-0 vote, and passed its third reading on the House floor 61-1. Rep. Bill Allemand (R-Midwest) stood alone in voting nay. The legislation also breezed through its Senate committee hearing 5-0, then was met favorably in its first two Senate floor readings.

Language added to the bill via amendment would give sign-posters a chance to remove the misleading signage before being fined. If they don’t comply, steep penalties could follow.

Under Wyoming statute, interfering with someone who’s lawfully hunting or fishing is punishable with a misdemeanor citation that comes with fines of up to $10,000. Subsequent violations can net fines of up to $50,000.

Men have found a new way to violate women.
Deepfake porn using AI - it has become easier to do now because of tech advances.
Some men do this by recreating a unknowing woman's image and then displaying her in pornographic action.
Sick puppies.

I can show you some, here in VA where some public land is marked with paint on border trees in a way that means "posted"

I ignored it, but wondered if maybe somebody accidentally, or accidentally on purpose, went too far down with it, there is some private land nearby. But now you can get apps that show you exactly where property lines are and I can see someone waned to pull a stunt.

They're going to need to come up with a better option than using a $400k missile to shoot down a balloon.

As far as our military budget goes, $400k is like pissing in the ocean

Diane Fienstein releases a statement saying she will not run for reelection in 2024.

The selfish old cow should have retired ages ago. She’s been very senile for a while now.

Quote:
Asked by reporters about her announcement to resign, @SenFeinstein says “I haven't made that decision, I haven't released anything.” A staffer then told the senator that a statement had been released. Feinstein responded saying “I didn’t know they put it out.”

Biden is struggling too, although he's much younger than her (89).

Losing her husband to cancer recently didn't help.
