Yet another group of people afraid to hurt anyone's feelings. There are winners and losers. In school, the Valedictorian "won"...that does not mean they'll so the best in life (at least one study shows it doesn't), but it does mean they were the best student in the class. Wins and losses are what help shape us and drive us towards being better. Everyone being the same is a horrid goal. |

I can't imagine there being less than two sailors responsible for a watch at all times. Maybe more. Not to mention any electronic warnings. Sounds like court martials will be in the works unless they're among the missing. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

It looks like a section 8 for him. He was a gas turbine mechanic so I don't see how he could be responsible but perhaps the recent frocking involved a change of duties. There is a reason why it is a court martial offense for anyone but the officer of the watch to speak to the helmsman or even to approach him. |
