were soooo excited at how they were
going to use the Moore win as a big
2018 playing card to smear all Repubs
with. Oops.

And there's talk that Franken is trying
his best to weasel his way back in and
the Dems are freaking. If Franken doesn't
leave it could a card used against them.

I called Jones winning 100%, not just the win but why. Spraining my arm patting myself on the back.

Not so much a win for the Dems as a win for the country. Moore isn't donebeing famous. I expect a starring role in any/all negative ads on GOP endorsers and Trump.

Legislation SHOULD be bipartisan. It's inflicted on the entire country, not just those who agree with it. So I prefer as big a split as possible, requiring compromise and ideas from all parties. Steamrollers flatten everything except the driver, and we've had more than enough of that.

Just like Trump SHOULD be acting as if he's president of an entire country, not just a whore to his shrinking base. He and Bannon get the blame. And more than deserve it, for backing such a nasty man. But then one is a wife-beater, the other a sexual predator, so no surprise they stuck together with Moore.

Thanks to blacks and thanks to women of all colors. The privacy of the ballot box allowed them to vote their hearts, not their husband's wishes.

The biggest message, I think, is that it CAN be done, even in the reddest states, with a good, credible candidate. Virginia was not a fluke (you're thinking of Ed Gillespie, probably, who lost there, not NC). Sidebar: I know him from 2006, when we hired him to help w/lobbying the Republicans on ATC contract imposition. He's good people. Would have been a good governor. But not to be.

Put good, moderate Republicans up there, maybe they can still win. But now the energy is all on the opposition side, and no 2018 seat is safe. Quality people avoiding service because of recent low-quality tactics and policies should step up on both sides.

We are pissed, and we are "woke". Oops. Maybe we'll each throw a quarter in the jar to pay for the Bannon burial, but we will beat any Bannon Repubs anywhere.

Franken is leaving end of the year. He might well run for the seat again, and I hope he does. The voters of MN did not get to decide if they want him to leave, and they could put him back in. I'm guessing he won't run, though.

EB thinks Franken is trying to "weasel his way back in" (he's not).

We get it, you guys are lacking a significant villain to scare GOP voters with in upcoming elections. While us lefties have Donald, the biggest villain of all.
