Hopefully if you're in a destitute situation and your driving a 10K car, that value is in reliability. If you have a 10K car and that's it, no way can you sell it for 10K.

If you only have a 3K car, chances are it needs everything, including brakes and a tail light. I'm assuming this person may want to find gainful employment somewhere? When you are broke or living on a minimal stipend, you can't have a vehicle that nickel and dimes you to death.

Working construction I had several lean winters, and a migratory worker learns, with your last paycheck, you make sure you have good tires and your vehicle is ready to be put into service should work become available somewhere. I couldn't afford to have a vehicle I couldn't trust to take me several states away at a moments notice. My .02

dRich’s point is what happens if there is a repercussion for buying a car that you shouldn’t have. But there isn’t. Just get the free food from the kindness of others. How many people on public assistance have mobile phones that cost $1k or more? Easier question is how many font? If you are on line for free food that means you are not taking the advertised Lowe’s job, the job in Michael’s, the Wegmans job, or the Home Depot job. (Those are the four wife’s daughter, now home from college, saw advertised and applied for). In NY now you can get $1k a week free for not working. No incentive to take a job that pays less.

The idiots in congress that passed the $600, now $300 extra giveaway did so yo buy those votes.

i'm sure people on the way to bankruptcy or complete homelessness do eventually trade down. Using up unemployment, go through savings, run up credit cards probably come before trading down on the car.

I am currently unemployed but not poor yet as I have more credit than two years worth of my salary. Fortunately a lot of that credit is at 0% for 18 months.

It only took Trump 4 years to nearly bring in double the lawsuits against his administration. [

Anyone think Trump will do a Nixon style exit. He resigns a couple days before his term and President Pence pardons all the Trumps.

It avoids dealing with a President pardoning himself.

I thought that some time ago, but now it is starting to be publicly mentioned, even by the NY AG.

It would be poetic if trump resigned and pence stabbed him in the back (figuratively speaking)

That quote is from a while back. Odds are around 75-80% that at least one Republican wins in Georgia. Perdue is favored more than Loeffler. But I would assume you are not allowed to parlay the Dems, as the races will be quite correlated.
