If Republican Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, lose their seats to Democratic challengers, Jon Ossoff and the Rev. Raphael Warnock, Democrats will claim control of the Senate because of the VP, Kamala Harris.

Stacey Abrams, the next Governor of Georgia, says 900,000 Georgians have requested mail in ballots. If that is true, the dems should take both seats, one way or another.

Is Georgia on its way to becoming the next Virginia or Colorado? A once competitive state that turns reliably blue within a couple election cycles?

That quote is from a while back. Odds are around 75-80% that at least one Republican wins in Georgia. Perdue is favored more than Loeffler. But I would assume you are not allowed to parlay the Dems, as the races will be quite correlated.

In theory, I support the republicans holding control of the senate by the narrowest of margins. That would mean that any democrat proposals would need at least a little republican support, from the more moderate members.

In practice, that all goes out the window, since Mitch mcconnell can personally prevent any bill from coming to a vote. He basically has veto power, even if some bill has moderate republican support, and I am not sure there is a way to override it.

Because of that, I am now slightly more in favor of a 50/50 split. I anticipate the democrats will have problems getting the progressives in line with some of the more moderate proposals, so to counter that they will need a few moderate republicans, so that will have to do.

Next Gov of Georgia, maybe
She may have her sights on a bigger prize
How about Harris/Abrams 2024 or 2028

SOOPOO, what will you say if Perdue and Loeffler have strong leads after the polls close, but then libbie voter fraud (aka mail-in ballots) causes them to lose in the dead of night?

I believe there is a difference between ‘voter fraud’ and counting legal mail in ballots. The Republicans will have to show that there are (enough to make a difference) mail in ballots that are fraudulent.

I won’t argue with you about whether Trump lost fairly or due to voter fraud. What I will say is that the bar is high to prove that, and I’ve seen nothing coming close to reaching that bar.

Let’s hope that both Republicans win, and save a few thousand posts about how that election was stolen..

It won't stop those posts. If the Republicans win, it will "prove" that the election was stolen. If the democrats win, it will "prove" that they stole another election.

No steal necessary in GA. The 2.4 million Black voters are 32% of the voting population in that state. 90% of them vote dem. 63% of them are ‘extremely motivated’ to vote. Mail in ballots ensure a higher percentage of them vote.

Dont forget the Asian American vote lol
We work hard, we are educated and the republican party does not want our vote
More then motivated, its duty in the Asian community
Asian Americans have some of the highest voter participation rates in the country
