I have seriously thought 'these things through'. The party does NOT want Sanders as they realize he is the one candidate that fails at the 'middle' or 'independent' voters. Soooooo..... since they will NOT be using actual Democrat votes or elected delegates, as that would point to Sanders, they will use "the best candidate for the country now" or whatever other hyperbole they choose.

He is in no way a 'total outsider'. He's a Democrat leader who just chose not to run for President. You really can't see the Democrats picking someone who could actually beat Trump in a debate? We know Biden can't.

I can't explain it, but he 'seems' good at a debate, and plays well to the audience. He won the nomination by crushing the field in the debates. Him winning a debate is not determined by the Harvard Debate Team captain, but by Joe Blow.

You can say he sucked in 2016. I believe he picked up votes against HRC in those debates.

Biden can barely string a coherent sentence together without leaving out a key word, shortening words, etc...

Trumps malaprops are significant, but as we well know, there are some things Trump gets away with that others just don't. Fair? NO! But it is the real world!

Did anyone hear when he said something like "I am not familiar with these medical models, you know what kind of models I know...."? I mean, any highly ranking Democrat leader is lambasted for that comment.... And frankly, wouldn't make it.

How did Biden make it through all the Democrat debates if he is doing so badly at debates?

Whatever gaffes he made it was never bad enough to give anyone pause.
