I will still trust the mainstream media more than I do posters on the internet. In my opinion people just need to get over the fear of dying. Granted, I don't want to die a painful death but dying doesn't scare me.

That seems to be the big part of it. And why some of us are more at peace than others with it. Ever see the movie "Thief" and he tells his girlfriend something to the order of "you have to get to where you do not care what happens to you" to survive prison? Same thing with covid. Some people are just afraid and even the thought of no masks scares them to death. Others do not let it rule their lives and take a more calculated approach.

It is also the fear of getting really sick. Many people who had covid I have fatigue all the time now and some of them have brain fog that lasts for months. Vaccinations did not save them from this. Who wants to be tired all the time and walk around in a fog. There are people who lose their sense of smell and taste for months. It's not just about dying.

No, but a self administered bullet would. That would be the option I chose.
At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent.

Sounds like I must have had it for about 5 years now.

More and more is coming out about my brother-in-law dying. He fell off his tractor passed out his and wife discovered him god knows how long after that. He was awake and she got him back on the tractor and took him to the house. He was babbling about heat stroke. She's a former nurse so instead of calling 911 immediately she let him talk her out of it for an hour. She finally called 911 anyway and when they got to the ER she told them it was heat stroke which Florida is like saying you farted crossways they hear it all day long apparently. So they had to sit there in a packed ER that was standing room only with every kind of human you can imagine, she says. And some of them we're coughing and hacking and sneezing thru their masks because it's the ER and it's Central Florida. When they finally get him in to be treated turns out he had a heat stroke but it caused a heart attack god knows how many hours ago. And we all know the real damage from a heart attack comes after it happens and you have to get to the ER ASAP. Several hours after that he died.

His wife now realizes that she screwed up by not calling 911 immediately, and that who knows how many people in the ER that were coughing and sneezing had covid which she now has. So my brother-in-law's family is in an uproar because the ex-nurse in their minds killed their relative. At least some of them feel that way.

To hell with them and their blame game.

He said "heat stroke" and she believed him.

Sounds just like the symptoms of old age to me.

Fascinating to see EB finally figure out what the rest of us learned last summer about long haul Covid.

I didn't just find that out, what are you talking about. I was talking about this well over a year ago when I had covid in February 2020. I especially talked about the fatigue cuz I had it bad for weeks. I think I still have some of it because I started taking naps during that period. And I never took naps before in my life. And a year-and-a-half later I still have to take a nap everyday.
