People who were at home chilling ever since March 2020 on their Unemployment Checks are now freaking out now that Unemployment Checks are drying up and are scrambling to find jobs. Did they think the Government was going to KEEP giving them Unemployment Checks? Unemployment Checks were meant to be for the Shutdowns only. Now that most of the World is no longer under Shutdowns, the Government is ending the Unemployment Shutdown Checks since the huge majority of jobs are back especially since more and more People have at least gotten their first shot but two weeks haven't passed since the first shot, a huge percentage are at least Partially Vaccinated(At least two weeks after the first shot). And a huge percentage of People have gotten their Second shot, but haven't reached the two week Minimum yet. And a huge percentage of People are fully Vaccinated, at least two weeks have passed since their second shot. So the Shutdown Unemployment Checks aren't really needed much anymore.

Of course they did! How long did Obama keep pushing for 99 weeks of unemployment in a supposedly growing economy? Same thing now, the liberals want this to be the start of the crazy idea called UBI. But we now see that UBI will cause people to refuse to work.

Actually, when Elon Musk recently said he favored UBI, he was just telling us what he was actually going to do.

You are right. People want handouts to chill at home, but go full on freak mode when the Government is finally like,"Get off your lazy asses and WORK!" My Parents told me when I was younger,"The only way we will support you as an Adult without having a job or being in College is if you are disabled. If you are able bodied and mentally okay or not in College as an Adult, you're going to be working."

Makes as much sense as the idea that construction grade dust masks prevent Covid.

They don't prevent COVID, but they lower the amount of particles and droplets you exhale/cough/sneeze/etc....

It's a reduction measure. 6ft is not 100% safe either, but it reduces.

Because it's not practical for every human to walk around in a biohazard suite.

So its about practical measures that are not cumbersome to reasonably slow transmission.
