Yet it is a problem for many; not just "right wing media"... "Along party lines, 87 percent of respondents who identified as Republicans, 73 percent of those who identified as independents and 66 percent of those who identified as Democrats said the current situation at the Southern Broder is an urgent crisis." https://thehill.com/hilltv/what-americas-thinking/544391-poll-majority-say-surge-at-the-border-a-crisis "In a new Harvard/Harris poll, an overwhelming 80% said that illegal immigration is a serious issue and one that needs more attention than what President Joe Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris are giving." https://news.yahoo.com/harvard-poll-80-see-border-123800465.html Americans a smart enough to see more than one crisis at a time. Even if the border is #3 or lower, it does not mean it is not a crisis. It is a mess an he is inept at handling it. His mouthpiece spews word salad and says nothing at all. Time for him to man up and actually lead. |

What happens if he doesn’t man up and lead? How will my life be affected if the “crisis” continues on for the rest of his term? Spoiler alert: no effect on my life. “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

Trump had little to no impact on your life either; never stopped you from talking about it all day, every day. Biden's poor leadership on Covid-19 has directly impacted many lives. Instead of seeking to help overcome objections and concerns about the vaccine, he has sought to demonize those who don't want to take the vaccine. He is too stupid to realize that it is not limited to "those other people" (Republicans) but that the hesitancy is deeper than that and a better leader we seek to bring people to the vaccine instead of demonizing them. Biden's number one accomplishment? Saying that Trump did a bad job...and then saying "hold my beer"... He is Joe Biden, after all. We should have expected as little as we have gotten. What has he ever lead or accomplished? |

Are you kidding?! I think Donny’s disastrous Covid-19 response is the most consequential thing a president has done in my lifetime. Imagine if the stupid em-effer convinced his cult followers to wear masks last year and get vaccinated this year. This thing would be over. Instead, those dumbasses are eating horse paste. “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

The problem is he isn't leading anything. He can't even read a coherent sentence anymore let alone come up with one off the script. He is incapable of making decisions so the question is who the hell is running the country. Obviously it's not just one person in the background, it's a bunch of people. This is why everything is falling apart so quickly. Thousands of people a day, unvaccinated people, are flooding across the border out of control. Afghanistan was a national catastrophe. Covid is a slow-moving train wreck. Congress wants to print more money then we can possibly ever walk back from. They stole the election now they think they can do any damn thing they want. And it's only been nine months, wait another year. We are headed for something, a recession a depression out of control inflation, something is coming mark my words. Something very bad. And with a total absolute lack of leadership in the President and Vice President this is not going to be good. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Yet you likely believe that Biden is doing a good job leading us through the crisis. I am not going to argue that there were huge flaws in Trump's response. They lied to us about masks being necessary to keep there form being a run on masks. Someone told him it would take two weeks to slow the spread and they were obviously dead wrong. In spite of that, he pushed for the vaccines and other things to help battle Covid. Was his response uneven? Yes. Would it have been better to let Pence alone lead the response on a daily and for him to stay farther in the background? Yes. All of that doesn't change a thing about Biden and Harris rejecting the vaccine because it was a Trump thing. They changed their tune, but not before they made it more political than it already had become. Democrats create mask policies and then flaunt them because they are "sophisticated." Biden talks down to people about not wanting the vaccine when the hesitancy crosses political lines. He does not know HOW to lead. They are not out teaching folks in order overcome the hesitancy; his answer is broad mandates. Yes, mandates have stood before. That is likely because they were done properly. How can you make a mandate that companies over 100 people have to get the vaccine and ones with less don't have to bother? Why don't welfare and other recipients of government money need to get the shots? What about the people we let stay coming over the border? We could at least make them take the first shot to stay... If he wants a mandate, man up and make it a mandate. Most people aren't taking "horse paste" like many dummies on the left continue to talk about; they are taking the pills, which have been around a long time. Perhaps Biden could start there--fight the horse paste bullshit and talk about the facts. Trump's daily pressers were a good idea; they were not as well executed. In spite of some flaws, deaths were 5 times less than expected originally. There were actually some good things going on fighting the disease and the putz in the White House now is not doing a better job in any way than was done in 2020. He is in a better spot, because we have vaccines and more treatments, but he still is failing to lead. |

[quote snipped for relevance, and most of it is just the same old blather I don’t care to respond to] Ah yes, who can forget Donny’s original estimation of 60k deaths. Then 200k. What a successful leader he was.... /s “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

Monday morning quarterbacking is where somebody takes all the decisions the quarterback made & point out all the things he should have done differently. Making decisions in the middle of something is very difficult and some things are going to go wrong. Beijing Joe said all during the campaign that Trump is doing everything wrong when it came to covid and Beijing Joe would do everything right. What did he do when he got in office? Absolutely nothing. A few months later he admitted he had no plan, he had no idea what needed to be done. So easy to criticize a guy who does make decisions. Remember how Biden would plead, and say C'mon. man, why doesn't Trump just lead? He said this over and over about covid then when he gets into office he does absolutely nothing in the leadership role and The Press completely ignores it. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
