1. Let's see... Biden canceling the deal, and then announcing renegotiation. Taliban starts attacking American troops. 100% criticism from the right. Taliban kills some GIs and rightwing never shuts up about how great Trump's agreement was.

He doesn't have to keep the "right wing" happy. He needs to do things right. That doesn't mean canceling the deal, it means using some of his vast foreign affairs expertise to renegotiate enough to make the evacuation plan work a lot better. We're giving them aid soon anyway; why not tie that into it? he is the "adult in the room," isn't he?

2. Biden sends in troops to reinforce our evacuation creating a wider perimeter. 100% criticism from the right about sending in troops. Maybe the 13 don't get killed but probably some will in the new fighting. Rightwing never shuts up about it.

The promise that Biden might have keeping it friendly with the Taliban. Intelligence and whereabouts of Al-Q, and Isis-K. And even allowing possible operations to attack them. That was worth the risk. Short of staying there. Maybe we'll still have some of that. Maybe not.

You negotiate for the wider area and let it be known that you will cause great harm to anyone who gets in the way of the process once the agreement is in place.

3. Staying there, 100% criticism from all sides.

Getting out was not the issue. A few supported staying, but not many. The issue was the "how"...he told us that he could do things better.

He failed.

I think that's called continuing the war. I mean George Bush could have made the same deal/threat on week one 20 years ago.

It takes a lot of balls to purposefully leave people behind who you have promised to help. The President did not even try.

We'll just send some money over there; why bother trying to leverage the situation to our advantage and help those who help us?

He is not the leader you guys want to think he is....

Might have had 4 more years of a Republican, had the republicans picked a better choice 4 1/2 years ago.

You can barely understand what he's reading office cards it when he stops reading he just babbles. What a leader. Does he ever take questions anymore from anybody? His handlers can't get the press out of there fast enough. This is not even a slow-moving train wreck anymore, is a freight train going off the cliff.

If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

RCP finally has Beijing Joe's disapproval rating at 50%. This is huge. Do you know how bad a Democrat president has to be to get a 50% disapproval rating. I was just reading that most polls are always skewed in favor of the Democrats and that if the polls were accurate his disapproval rating is probably 56 or 57%. Rasmussen is probably the most accurate at 56% disapproval. I truly do not think Biden cares or even knows about it he's just doing what he's told by his bosses in Beijing. The people who care and the people who are affected by this are all the Democrats in Congress. They are climbing the walls over Beijing Joe's cratering numbers. It's an election year next year and there is no corner to turn here. Inflation is only going to get worse, winter is coming and the virus will only get worse, taxes are going to be raised, there are hundreds of American hostages still in Afghanistan, energy prices are going up. More and more Democratic senators are lining up against the 3.5 billion dollar bill. Their constituents don't want it, nobody in their right freaking mind wants it.

Look at all the polls that have Beijing Joe at 50%.

A 3.5 billion dollar bill will do nothing for our inflation, that is the drop in a bucket. I am assuming you are talking about some bill related to the border?

Its nothing, that is why I did not even mind Trump's 10 billion for a border wall, I said let him have it, if it allows him to concede on other issues (immigration reform). When it comes to the Federal budget, under 10 billion hardly matters (it may sound crazy for us everyday people, but its reality). Debt and deficit are so hard what a few billion here or there (I am not saying this is right, but its reality with America, and both parties are equally responsible, so don't pull a Republicans eliminate the deficit card, they don't, Clinton was the only recent President to have a surplus, and most Republicans actually get worse, because they cut taxes, but don't actually cut spending -often increase it- so the deficit balloons, Reagan was actually one of the worst for this.....)
