There you go, bringing facts into the conversation again! Fact is, liberals are so filled with hate for those doing better in life than they are that they would rather have lower tax receipts with a higher tax rate than higher tax receipts and a better economy with a lower tax rate. The actual numbers do not matter to them, just their hate. Someone gets to keep their own money and they get upset for some reason. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

[quote snipped to highlight the absurdity] Tanko’s facts are usually based on sources. Duffman’s are what Kellyanne would call “alternative facts.” “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

You shouldn't have to explain it again and again for months. "Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP. |

He neglects to mention in his defense of using "Trump's plan" for getting out of Afghanistan that only a bastardized plan mostly of his administration's doing is what was executed. That plan was executed poorly and some folks should be fired. Americans don't like the feeling of losing. That is what this abortion of an operation feels like. The losing feeling impacted the national mood in the 70's and we had some bad times with another poor leader, Jimmy Carter. President Biden certainly has time to turn it around if he would actually get out front and lead. You have no idea what the most transparent President in history is doing most of the day. Is he napping in the basement while he lets others screw things up? |

That sounds like Donny. In fact, all your criticisms of Biden seem like things you should have criticized Donny for but could never bring yourself to do... “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

A deal needed to be made that the Taliban wouldn't make any advance in forces during the final 30 days of our withdrawal. Trump didn't foresee it either. Should you fire your intelligence experts when they get something wrong. Maybe the same ones who got something wrong this time got something right the last time. Keeping the Taliban away needed to be part of any deal. Trump wasn't hailed as a great foreign affairs guy; him getting that wrong is bad enough...Biden getting it wrong is a total failure, because he is the guy with experience. Trump is no longer President and the plan executed is owned by Biden...he could have changed it (and did) in any way he needed to based on the Taliban violating the original agreement. We should have kept the larger air base, told the Taliban to stay the hell out of Kabul until the airlift was completed, and used at least two, if not more. air bases to evacuate all those we said that we would. No firm date should have been implemented, especially not 9/11. Yes, people who do things badly get fired all the time in normal administrations. The whole "but Trump" crap this President plays is old and tired. You beat him; you are the man...own it! |

1. Let's see... Biden canceling the deal, and then announcing renegotiation. Taliban starts attacking American troops. 100% criticism from the right. Taliban kills some GIs and rightwing never shuts up about how great Trump's agreement was. 2. Biden sends in troops to reinforce our evacuation creating a wider perimeter. 100% criticism from the right about sending in troops. Maybe the 13 don't get killed but probably some will in the new fighting. Rightwing never shuts up about it. The promise that Biden might have keeping it friendly with the Taliban. Intelligence and whereabouts of Al-Q, and Isis-K. And even allowing possible operations to attack them. That was worth the risk. Short of staying there. Maybe we'll still have some of that. Maybe not. 3. Staying there, 100% criticism from all sides. "Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP. |
