Also people who will follow evidenced based claims normally, sometimes will claim one can no longer use normal applications of evidence as soon as it comes to supernatural claims. And contradictions matter less than one would think. So does lack of evidence, since lack of evidence is portrayed as something could still be possible.

But really, my point is more about getting rid of any special classification of religion. Then you look at what a group of people claim just like any free speech. Are women second class citizens? Can gays be stoned? Is it okay to kill people who refuse to believe in your belief?

Its actually an important piece to rebuke religious arguments (specifically for Scientology and Mormonism).

Many former Scientologist (I don't know any personally, but I have watched them speak) become disenchanted when learning the truth about Hubbard (he portrays himself in a very specific way in his books and videos). The same for Mormons (who I do actually know both current and former), when they realize how insane (and basically a career conman even before Mormonism) Joseph Smith was, it damages his credibility as a modern prophet.

As for what is okay to believe, its okay to believe whatever you want. If you want to believe that women are second class citizens, nobody can stop you. But, when you start taking action on those beliefs (stopping your wife from voting, arranging forced marriages for your daughters, etc...) society has not just the ability, but the obligation to stop you. Same thing is apostasy, this is mostly an Islamic problem (at least in the modern world), not so much no believing, however, when a Muslim leaves the religion they become an "apostate", which in much of the world is a death sentence. Its basically a threat of death that keeps people in. This does not apply to those who were never practicing (as they are a different category).

Some other religion (branches of Christianity) do similar things to a less extreme extent (basically they can current members from talking to you, often including family). Scientology does something even more evil (not as bad as killing), but they basically dox you, they release all of your personal information and everything bad that you have ever did to the world (which they acquire through their own background checks as well as forced counseling sessions where you have to say basically every bad thing you ever did, and unlike Catholicism there is no vow to secrecy, as it is technically not a religious or medical session, so its common for them to publish full websites to slur former members, and they often buy out every domain with every combo of your name to redirect...). Its a pretty bad religion, not as violent (at least overtly), but they destroy people in other ways....

Even Vladimir Putin said he wants nothing to do with Afghanistan, they already learned their lesson. Now China will learn theirs. The Brits were there in the 19th century and it almost bankrupted them. The tribes in Afghanistan are different, you can't defeat them because they don't roll over for anybody. In order to defeat a country you have to break its spirit and nobody has ever done that in Afghanistan.

I don't understand. Beijing Joe won the election in a landslide, he got more votes than Barry Obama got. That's how much we wanted him to be president. And here it is only nine months in office you can you hear these chance all over the country? I'm starting to wonder if maybe the election WAS stolen after all. Nobody wants this senile saggy-ass old fart kids hair sniffer as president.

It is strange. Strange as all the Trump signs still up when I go for a country drive. You might be on to something with the election fraud idea.
