Sounds like a timed system, with indicator lights telling the candidates how much time is left. I kinda like the idea of a rundown clock, like the NBA shot clock. |

I do think they should have a clock but the microphone needs to stop exactly when it gets to zero. In debates we constantly see people speaking beyond their time limit and I think that needs to stop. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |
