Trump is also getting more bold and going into his more outlandish claims. Maybe we'll get lucky, and he will damage himself on his own as he runs his mouth. Otherwise, I hope democrat strategists are going into a serious huddle about new ideas. Biden gets these short bursts of good replies, but I don't think it will add up to enough. At least that's my impression so far. His voice is a little less hoarse at least, but still not particularly strong most of the time. When he looks down or straight ahead he looks okay, but he has this blank expression too often.

I think Biden has gotten ‘a little’ better as the debate has gone on. And Trump ‘a little’ worse. I think the format is a million times better than previous debates. No talking over each other makes it watchable. I think the moderators have done as good a job as possible. Wifey thinks media is going to focus on the disaster both candidates are.

I am now even more sure of my vote. I will be writing my own name in again.

If I was forced to pick a winner of the debate, I guess I’d pick Trump. Trump really was just exactly who he is and has been. I do think Biden looked more addled than ever before. If you were just voting for the mental competence of an individual, incredibly, Trump easily won.

What of those of us who vote on policy positions?

Donny's policy positions and his public statements are deranged and a danger to the country.

Looks like it was an epic debate. In its own way.

Yeah I'm seeing that. There's also a cadre of stalwarts who are not ready to let Biden go.

Which I sympathize with, but what they're not considering though, is increased chance he may very well get worse and not make it to the election. That would put them in an even worse position at a later date. It's pretty late now.

Assuming they were brain glitches and not just stuttering and a cold, it's not going to get any better. I;m hoping it's just stuttering and a cold...
