Democrat first term Congressman dies after Trump speech. Apparently was ill with cancer while running but covered it up. I’m sure we will be told many conflicting stories. Anyway, he’s from a solid Dem district in Texas. They have a ‘special election’ to replace him….. when…. the Republican Governor decides to schedule the election! I’m wondering how long Abbott can stall? With the narrow Republican house majority it’s a big deal.

How about this? ‘To save Texans millions of dollars I will not be calling a special election and the seat can remain vacant until the next scheduled election in 2026.’

This is of course stupid. There should be a specific time frame for these special elections. ‘The special election will occur on the first Tuesday 4 months after the death of the current Representative’. Or something like that.

I believe it's May 15th. I don't know if Abbot has the power to delay it.

After those optics in the chamber, I'd expect half of the remaining liberals, libertarians, and RINOs in the USA to jump ship.

It's obvious Jeffries & Schumer don't know what they're doing.

Have they ever had a real job in their entire lives?

I don't expect 100% of all counties in the USA to move red, up from 89%.

Maybe split the difference to 95%, because there are some that'll never jump a sinking ship.

Did you see the “feelings meter” results at all? When Trump said there are only two genders republicans and independents went totally positive. Democrats went negative. You have to think they wanted to cheer how that volleyball gitl got injured by a male playin against women. They are so out of touch it is insane.

It is all how Dick Morris explained. They really think they have not gone far enough left to convince people. Right now they are probably scouring their ranks for a lesbian tranny colored female married to an illegal alien to run in 2028.
