The State Department is warning travelers about violent crime and other potential risks in a popular destination for cruise passengers and other tourists – The Bahamas.

The Caribbean nation was already listed at “Level 2: exercise increased caution,” according to the State Department’s rubric for travel safety, where Level 1 means “exercise normal precautions” and Level 4 means “do not travel.”

However, the destination’s travel advisory was updated with additional information this week to “reflect crime, swimming-related risks, and information on traveling with firearms and ammunition.”

Margin call Friday. :)

Trump is getting ready to finance a boatload of debt and needs rates as low as possible.

Another half a point on $37 trillion could make a substantial impact.

It's possible he can save $1/2 trillion interest with "another" 1/2 point over 1 year on $37 trillion, depending on how he works the numbers.

I'd go ahead and include Greenland in the calcs.

Folks get scared, buy secured bonds and dump stocks while rates come down.

You know the drill by now.

The market is back where it was last October before the election. Since 93% of the stock market is owned by 10% of the wealthiest people let's not all have a conniption fit over it. Everything will be just fine.

Stupid Americans keep trying to contact an indigenous tribe.

Quote:
outsiders, Indians and foreigners alike, are banned from travelling within 3 miles (5km) of the island to protect the Indigenous people from outside diseases and to preserve their way of life.
“The American citizen was presented before the local court after his arrest and is now on a three-day remand for further interrogation,” the Andaman and Nicobar Islands police chief, HGS Dhaliwal, told AFP.

Satellite photographs show a coral reef-fringed island – stretching to some 6 miles at its widest point – with thick forest and white sand beaches.

The Sentinelese last made international headlines in 2018 after they killed John Allen Chau, 27, an American missionary who landed illegally on their beach.
Chau’s body was not recovered and there were no investigations over his death because of the Indian law prohibiting anyone from going to the island.

The formula for this chart is the SPT / SPX for Weekly intervals:

When she moves down this fast, look at how fast the Dot Com bubble popped.

Both Dot Com and AI were scams.

Those big tech firms are loaded with AI garbage.

According to Trump, a person can get a web site for $3 now. :)

Transitory deflation. :)

Dot Com bust.

AI bust.

They were likely stealing taxpayer cash via NGOs and running her up through options.

Once price broke that 23 year double top upwards, she was off to the races.

Then everything was fake AI.

There never was AI.

But there are robotics.

Maybe in another 50 years, or so, with quantum computers.

AI "was" more than a marketing gimmick:

It was a way to get passive investor cash through deception and euphoria.

So far, they likely stole several trillion, through premeditated fraud.

Besides fake AI news, all they had to do was run NVDA up with stock options and the rest followed like a herd of cattle to be slaughtered.

Consider AAPL after the recent market sell-off (it wasn't a market crash LOL).

The PE multiplier is 32.3, after price falling about 28%, from it's fraudulent AI peak of $260.

It can easily fall to a 10-12 PE for a firm that size.

Meaning, about 1/3 of the current price of $188.38 is very valuable.

It's a good $60 stock priced at $188 after falling 28%.

And look no further than the Banking Cartel.

We all know the Cartel is above the law (no one will go to prison).

Buyer Beware.

Know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, and know when to do the opposite.

At its core, today's AI is incapable of comprehension, knowledge, thought, or "intelligence." This name is little more than a marketing gimmick.

The guy who wrote the article does not understand how the word intelligence is being used here. When you take a fine piece of glass stemware and tap it and it makes a musical note the glass is said to have intelligence. A coil spring is said they have intelligence. All kinds of things have what's known as intelligence and that doesn't make them self-aware by any means. Artificial intelligence is just what it says, it's not claiming to be anything else. That article is mostly clickbait.

“Fox News remained the top cable news network, and enjoyed its highest-rated quarter in cable news history,” reports AdWeek. “Fox News also secured its highest quarter cable news share ever with 65% of the audience in total day and 66% in primetime. More people are watching Fox News than the broadcast networks during primetime."

Both CNN and MSNBC are still hemorraging viewers at a huge rate. Every month is worse than the last month. When all you do is lie lie lie for years people eventually catch on. When you keep feeding the people hoax after hoax after hoax they eventually get tired of it.
