I agree with you and am surprised that is rare.

I’ll try not to get used to it.

Must be remote work

Quote:
Fortune 500 companies have unwittingly hired thousands of software engineers who claim to be American developers but are actually North Korean citizens using stolen or fake identities. Through legitimate employment, the IT workers are illegally funneling their salaries to Kim Jong Un’s regime to fund prohibited weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missile programs. The U.S. Treasury, State Department, and FBI collectively estimate the IT workers scam has generated hundreds of millions each year since 2018.

About 95% of the résumés Harrison Leggio gets in response to job postings for his crypto startup g8keep are from North Korean engineers pretending to be American, the founder estimates. He even once interviewed a job seeker who claimed to have worked at the same Manhattan-based cryptocurrency exchange as he did, during the time he worked there.

I have done a lot of remote work and you still usually have Zoom meetings and requirements to come in to the office a few times a year. I guess you ould get away with it but it wouldn't be easy.

In regards to volatility, the night before last, the Hang Seng dropped 13%.

These types of moves coincide with the VIX at high levels.

Yesterday morning, someone was desperate and circulated fake news that Trump was going to pause tariffs for 90 days.

Around $7.5 trillion jumped into equities to make the green move shown in the pic.

Then the WH issued a statement representing the news was fake to make the red move shown in the pic.

I can show more, but it's pretty technical.

I figure a hedge-fund had to meet a margin call or was nearing a margin call.

Normally, dead-cat bounces are not this violent.

These bankers are worse than the political fake news.

It's like someone was getting ready to jump out of a high-rise.

It happens often when these margin moves occur.

Jacob Rothschild. ^^^

As of 2015 about $300 trillion net worth supposedly, according to the citation.

Meaning, it could be a quadrillion by now.

The Asian counterpart has a different name.

Here's a couple references of bankers jumping:

Don't read the article if you have a weak stomach.

Further down on the page, there's a list of 72 suspicious banker deaths.

The main reference is no longer valid.

Wouldn’t be interesting if it was just state prosecutors, as state to state things differ, but they’re saying it’s federal.

Earlier warning about Bahamas upthread. If you can’t even go on the beach, what’s the point?

Quote:
An American man who briefly disappeared during a vacation to the Bahamas with his parents was found dead on a beach the next morning, according to his family.

They believe his death is suspicious after authorities found 23-year-old Dinari McAlmont, of Maryland, dead on Paradise Island in Nassau on April 6, just 12 hours after he landed on the island with his parents.

Michelle McAlmont, McAlmont's mother, told Eyewitness News Bahamas that she was "traumatized" after identifying her son's remains, alleging he appeared to be beaten,

"Do not retaliate, and you will be rewarded"

It means, don't sell Treasuries while we move tariffs up to half-reciprocal.

Here are the top holders of USA Treasuries:
https://ticdata.treasury.gov/resource-center/data-chart-center/tic/Documents/slt_table5.html

The largest creditors are Japan and China in that order.

Japan has over $1 trillion.

The night before last, there was heavy selling in US Treasuries.

Prices swung by a wide margin.

But yesterday, there was a solid auction.

I've read reports that it was likely Japan.

So Trump might have stopped the bleeding with a 90 day tariff pause.

It might work and it might not.

My opinion on the 90 day tariff pause, is that Trump didn't want the risk of more than one country dumping at a time.

So he chose to isolate China to lower dump risk with the hope the others will hold while the fixed values move down and rates climb.

Rates can really rip upward (principal plummets).

If he opts risk wise, he can have them liquidate one at a time.

But when rates are moving up, selling price moves down.

So the first come, first serve, gets the highest price.

Supposedly, Japan was trying to get the highest price.

I'm sure Trump is reviewing defense spending for Japan, South Korea, & Taiwan.

It wouldn't surprise me if Trump announces a reduction after the selling.

Trump needs someone to replace China's holdings.

That guy in Florida who attempted to assassinate Trump last year at the golf course is finally being charged by the state of Florida along with being charged with federal crimes. They say what took so long is the Joe Biden justice department completely stalled and stonewalled the case hoping that Democrats would win a second term and they can make it go away. That didn't happen so now the full weight of everything is coming down on this guy. I wonder when Democrats are going to fully realize what we had in this country under Joe Biden. What they were attempting to do and what would have happened if they had won the election. This country as we know it would have disappeared.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.
