Is this really any different than Trump previously changing his political affiliation from democrat to republican?

Or a flat-chested broad using falsies?

Or an unattractive woman glamming up with makeup?

I've two comments about the flame attack by the illegal Egyptian in Boulder yesteday.

1) Why didn't any of the members of the crowd shoot this fool down like the dog he is?

What, is Boulder so liberal, so progressive, that none of the locals carry concealed?

Incredible; had this happened in Texas I suspect he'd have been blown away in short order.

2) The perp says he planned and prepped for a year: really?

That's the best he could come up with?

Strictly amateur hour.

Had he spent a minute searching online he'd have come up with something much more effective (not that he or anybody should shoot flame at innocent people, I mention it to show it is readily available...amazing):

Here's a negative multipart essay of BTC:

It's worth reading, even if not true.

I'm neutral and don't own any but figured I'd share it.

The reason it may be true is:

He took a firearm training class. Was probably frustrated it didn't help him get a gun.

Compare the HK Interbank Rate of the GFC of 2007-2008 to now:

Looks like they're similar to late 2007.

I'd expect the current green line to rapidly increase and meet a near future crashing red line, before continuing down.

Citation from Brave's Browser fake AI (fast searching mechanism not AI...LOL):

What a scam.

Fake AI firm files for bankruptcy.

Anyone notice there are no ads with fake AI like a normal search engine? LOL

I wonder how they're going to survive without ad revenue.

Investors will catch on soon.

GOOG is in a tight spot.

The searchers are bypassing their own ad server.

And many firms are "round tripping" their revenue, such as NVDA.

AI Company Bankrupt

Builder.ai, a London-based AI startup backed by Microsoft, has filed for bankruptcy following revelations that its no-code development platform was not powered by AI but by 700 human engineers in India. The company had marketed its platform as driven by an AI assistant called “Natasha,” but investigations showed that customer requests were manually fulfilled by developers.

Key Developments:

Bankruptcy Filing: Builder.ai entered insolvency proceedings on June 2, 2025, after the fraudulent activities were exposed.

Revenue Inflation: The company was also accused of engaging in "round-tripping" with VerSe Innovation, an Indian social media startup, to artificially inflate its revenue figures from 2021 to 2024.

Financial Troubles: Builder.ai's troubles began when lender Viola Credit seized $37 million from its accounts in 2023, leading to a default on a $50 million loan and crippling the company's ability to operate or pay employees.

Workforce Reduction: The company has already reduced its workforce, and it is expected that VerSe Innovation will follow suit in the coming months as they attempt to stabilize their finances.

Background:

Investor Backing: Builder.ai was once valued at $1.5 billion and had received a reported $455 million investment from Microsoft.

Fraud Exposure: The farce lasted for eight years before being exposed in May 2025. Builder.ai announced its bankruptcy shortly thereafter, citing historic challenges and past decisions that strained its financial position.

Impact:

Industry Repercussions: The scandal has raised concerns about transparency and accountability in the tech startup ecosystem, potentially affecting investor confidence.

Employee Impact: Job cuts have already occurred at Builder.ai, and further reductions are expected at VerSe Innovation.

This case highlights the importance of due diligence and ethical practices in the rapidly growing AI sector.

A Virginia man pleaded guilty to killing in excess of 20 juvenile and mature bald eagles, and hawks in an effort to protect the waterfowl on his property so he could hunt them.

The defendant was found in possession of a pole trap he used to attract the birds of prey to land and then he snared them, according to the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources. The man, who built a small waterfowl impoundment on his property, also used a banned pesticide, carbofuran, to poison the eagles and hawks.

A six-year-old Illinois boy died after inhaling helium from a large, “child-size” Mylar balloon just days after his birthday, according to officials.

Gunner Hyatt likely suffocated and died after inhaling helium from the balloon last Thursday, May 29, WFIE reported.

Hyatt, who had just celebrated his sixth birthday eight days before, was examined by Wabash County Coroner Shaun Keepes at the family’s home in Mt. Carmel, a city bordering the state of Indiana.

Preliminary autopsy findings indicate that Hyatt’s cause of death was consistent with suffocation due to a Mylar-helium filled balloon, Keepes said. Additional testing will be required to determine the boy’s official cause of death, he added.

Did they put it over his head? Never heard of dying from this at least from one breath. Perhaps he kept taking breaths from it.
