Trump probably helped kill over a 100 Americans. DOGE cuts removed Warning Coordinator meteorologist in Texas. The person took the retirement and wasn't replaced.
Although this unfilled office bit may be true, the warning system in Texas was fully staffed and alert

The presumption that this administration was indirectly responsible for the deaths in Texas soon congealed into a consensus in online forums... Cathartic though these outbursts may have been, they were not predicated on a realistic assessment of the situation in central Texas.

In anticipation of this deadly system, the National Weather Service “had extra staff on duty during the storms,” according to the Associated Press. “There were extra people in here that night,” NWS meteorologist Jason Runyen told AP reporters, “and that’s typical in every weather service office — you staff up for an event and bring people in on overtime and hold people over.”
... the storm was anticipated, and warnings about it were disseminated well before its impacts were felt by local residents. “The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for Kerr County more than 12 hours ahead of the catastrophic flood ... "

seems to me the people in charge should have been checking the weather reports, and aware of the phenomenon of flash flooding, but perhaps there was a matter of unexpected scale ... I won't look into it, I'm not looking for a cathartic scapegoat search

Everything I have seen shows TX put out all proper warnings. It is doubtful that the person's duties were not reassigned.

But again you prove what a lowlife human being you are for making politics out of tragedy. Just like Democrats everywhere do. What is it with liberals making every awful thing about politics?

Better than someone who runs around and kisses Trump's butt all day no matter what he does.

Who does that? Most Trump supporters just live their lives, I know I do.

Funny, you seem to be here complaining about my posts on Trump like you're following me around.

Fully staffed? Plenty of people go into other people's office space and don't know how things are done there, where things are normally kept, contacts, idiosyncrasies even if it's the same job.

Saw a veteran commentator who's been around politics for 45 years saying that Elon Musk doesn't have a chance with his new political party because he's doing it wrong. Musk has said that it's his goal for his new party to win three Senate seats, to unseat three Republicans or democrats next year in 2026. The commentator said this is ridiculous, getting someone new in the Senate is almost as hard as getting a new president elected. He said to have a chance for the new party you have to start at the local level, start getting congressman elected to the state house and Senators to the state senate. Then after a few elections start running your people for Congress in the house. Then you take one of those and try to get them into the Senate down the road. Starting a new party a year and a half before an election and expecting to elect senators is what a rank amateur would do. It's not going to work. Plus Elon Musk has no platform, everything he's posted about his new party is a carbon copy of the Republicans. Who wants to vote for a new party that's exactly like one that's already there.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

So, we can never reduce a job anywhere for any reason? This is not Fantasyland. People come, people go. Cutback happen.

It has to be ground up. The most successful 3rd candidate in our time was Perot in 1992. And while that was not total ground up he did say, "you want me to run, get me on the ballot in all 50 states!" And local groups did! Other problems there, but show the GOP that they could not take their voters for granted like Democrats can.

For a party to come together enough people have to have a reason to join. For example, union member Democrats need to get tired of the Democrat Party being all-trannuy and all-abortion all the time. They would need to get some House seats and not just line up with the Democrats.

Musk thinks you can just pay people. Not going to work. He might get lots of staff, have lots of local campaign offices, but the energy needs to be organic.

Negative climate change is man-made alright but not by CO2.

CO2 is good.

Makes the Earth greener.

So in that aspect, man is helping the environment.

But deranged persons are modifying the weather with machines because rain is money (ATM machine).

Don't believe the Mockingbird, rule #1.

Rain recharges the aquifers with fresh H2O (containing atmospheric contaminants).

Filtered by soil and combined with minerals.

It's very valuable.

The scam can be thought of as a secret global war of fresh water harvesting.

Definitely not ethical, at least because of poor countries that don't have the technology.

And because of folks getting killed by strange weather patterns as the result of weather modification novices.

One downside of manipulating nature by man, is the technology is not all-knowing, hence killer floods, etc.

The markets and taxes that exist as the result of the climate change scam, likely go toward funding the unethical modifications.

In short, the funds sacrifice lives to fill aquifers.

It's like folks are so brainwashed with the climate change scam, they can't see stuff directly in front of them.

Tomorrow morning, the brainwashed will get up in the morning and continue to think it's CO2.

Here, take some of my paycheck to pay for CO2. :)

All gravy.

The brainwashed are going to get POed when they figure it out.

Wait until we get to hurricane season.

Gates will be in high-gear trying to save us.
