MA state law requires the release of a prisoner who posts bail, but if that criminal is wanted by federal law enforcement, MA state sanctuary laws deliberately prevent MA law enforcement from cooperating with federal law enforcement, and shield criminals with outstanding Federal warrants from arrest by Federal law enforcement.
