Federal workers flock to D.C. food bank as they miss first full paycheck of shutdown

I have little confidence in the competence of Washington DC federal employees, who's average salary is about $120,000 a year, who are unable to budget and prepare themselves for a government shutdown. How can I expect them to perform their duties professionally when they are unable to manage their own lives?

How many paychecks can you miss before you need food assistance, especially living in one of the most expensive locales in the US?

Many live paycheck to paycheck, not withstanding a good salary.

I know, you live in a cave and are clueless as to how expensive things are in DC, so I'll give you a bye.

Caught two alleged Louvre robbers. Sure they probably will at least know who the others are.

I would be willing to bet if someone is making $120k and is living paycheck to paycheck they are not spending their money wisely.
At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent.

Depends where you live and what your personal circumstances are.

If, hypothetically, you were a married man llving in the close in suburbs of DC and had a stay at home wife, two kids, a mortgage on your home and loans on two cars....you'd be hard pressed to meet all of life's expenses with a gross income of $120K.

Taxes would take a big bite.

My guess is Soros' money:

The Patriot Act didn't do much for citizens.

Check folks out wearing vests and stay clear of them [at least a block away if you can get that distance].

Vests are all about protection.

I saw a pic of "Feel the Bern" wearing a bullet-proof vest underneath his attire on stage with AOC and the future Commie Mayor.

NVDA is 16% of GDP:

Really its nowhere close because they're round tripping revenue.

Nothing but a Fonzi (aye), but they're not the only ones.

On these bubble tops, they're quick to shoot up and tough to get the highest price before the crashes begin.

Its about 10 times worse than 1929.
