I saw a video yesterday in Italy.

A woman and her young child were entering a retail store.


All of the sudden, a man moves fast and grabs the child.

Folks grabbed the man and pinned him down but he broke a bone in the child's leg.


They are grabbing children, not purses and phones only.

And in broad daylight.

So Trump wants to pour $10B of taxpayer money into his latest vanity project, the "Board of Peace."

The fat oaf needs to embrace, not ostracize the United Nations: with his support they could accomplish the same goals as his Board of Peace.

Apparently Anderson Cooper is quitting 60 minutes but staying on air at CNN. He was ‘only’ being paid around $2 million by CBS for his occasional reporting. A pittance compared to the around $18 million he makes at CNN.

A guy who reads ‘the news’ is paid $20 million a year!

He cites wanting to ‘spend more time with his young children’ as a reason.

I doubt he's really in it for the money, given his mom was Gloria Vanderbilt.

$20 million/yr? admittedly I've lost appreciation for how much a million dollars is, so when I see some journalist making that amount it seems very overpaid. Happens to old guys. This true of most of us here? Since I would have thought 2 million would be about right this means my own appreciation of how much that is , is stuck back to when I first had any appreciation of what money was at all [childhood] ... this according the inflation calculator
