If that was all that was happening, lots of the protests would die down to the diehard antiwar people which is much smaller group.

recently spotted a bald faced hornet , saw it fly to her nest which was just starting. The spray I use blew right through the paper and killed the single hornet. Saw another nest not that far away and the same thing. I was catching the nests at the stage where they were the size of a medium tomato ... these would have grown into those large bulbous paper covered nest. Easy to spot coloration, bald faced is derivative of original name of 'piebald' they think.

I suspected I was seeing a queen starting the process as a loner. Looked it up and this is verified. The process is not started with a swarm.

Face is the one who told me that the bald faced is the worst.
