The largest obstacle for Harris in becoming elected, is not having at least one child.

How can a person lead a country without the experience of managing a child (children)?

EDIT: I'm sure they've already considered this issue, so I'd say she's a temporary decoy for an end-around on two. Break!

This is the second largest obstacle for Harris.

Stay until you see the step-daughter too.

It's becoming obvious she's a decoy.

If was not eligible to run for President, she would not have been eligible to run for VP.....

As for her being a decoy, who knows, but the right would lose their mind if the nominee ends up being some random person from the wings who they are completely unprepared for.

James Polk was a success in business and politics, slave owning aside. Andrew Jackson was a success in business and a resounding success in politics, slave owning aside. George Washington was a profound success in business and in politics, slave owning aside. OTOH, James Buchanan was a success in neither, and neither was Warren Harding.

And besides, if the GOP cared so much about families, there would paid leave for the birth or adoption of a child, paid medical leave for family illness or injury, more affordable childcare and better schools in Red states.

Since English may not be your first language:

tend, verb, "regularly or frequently behave in a particular way or have a certain characteristic."

Note it does not say ALWAYS. It means in most cases.

As to paying for birth or adoption, that is for the parents to pay. Paid medical leave would be paid as an employee benefit. Childcare is also responsibility of the parents.

Why should the government mandate that? Why not just negotiate that in your employment contract? In my last contract I negotiated 6 weeks paid vacation when they were only offering four.
At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent.

Well, since 3 of the 5 childless Presidents has successful Presidencies, I'd say the tend is in the opposite direction.

Because most workers can't contract. Most of us are at-will. If a candidate tried to negotiate 6 weeks of vaca with me when I'm offering 4, I wouldn't even bother returning their phone call and I;d move on to the next candidate.

My point being that the GOP want t be seen as family-friendly and supporting stable families, but their social and economic policies are the exact opposite.

The Trump campaign on Tuesday filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission arguing money raised for President Joe Biden’s reelection bid cannot be transferred to Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign.

The complaint was filed by the Trump campaign’s general counsel David Warrington and argues transferring the funds would amount to “little more than a thinly veiled $91.5 million excessive contribution from one presidential candidate to another.”

“Kamala Harris is seeking to perpetrate a $91.5 million dollar heist of Joe Biden’s leftover campaign cash — a brazen money grab that would constitute the single largest excessive contribution and biggest violation in the history of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, as amended,” the complaint, a copy of which was obtained by CNN, states.

The complaint is against Biden, Harris, the Biden campaign (which is now the Harris campaign) and campaign treasurer Keana Spencer for allegedly “flagrantly violating the Act by making and receiving an excessive contribution of nearly one hundred million dollars, and for filing fraudulent forms with the Commission purporting to repurpose one candidate’s principal campaign committee for the use of another candidate.”

Harris campaign spokesperson Charles Kretchmer Lutvak responded to the FEC complaint in a statement Tuesday, saying, “Republicans may be jealous that Democrats are energized to defeat Donald Trump and his MAGA allies, but baseless legal claims – like the ones they’ve made for years to try to suppress votes and steal elections – will only distract them while we sign up volunteers, talk to voters, and win this election.”
