However, even if she has not, this is a bad argument, because she was not running to be the Presidential Candidate until Biden dropped. Gandler also never got a single vote in any primary (because I have never run for anything.) The primary (vote) is over, it is now for the DNC to decide the candidate.

As for the color of her skin, that is not accurate. That is like a hiring manager who only considers people who have a bachelors degree. You are not selected because you have a bachelors degree, it just helped you meet the minimum qualifications to be considered. Biden wanted a diverse VP, and she was one of many considered based on her attributes, and she was ultimately selected.

You actually got me there, she got votes in the general election which is more significant. Regardless Biden won the primary (by votes,) and Biden selected Harris as VP and as his replacement. So the logic follows either way.

I never said DEI hires are a bad thing, nor am I even debating that she is a DEI hire. She was one of many candidates considered based on the desired attributes at the time, and she was determined to be the best.

I thought Biden made a mistake by implying he was hiring someone based on skin color. Her qualifications in government service and the justice department were impressive. Compared to JD Vance, she was a far more qualified VP. With his lack of actual qualifications, it appears JD Vance is more of a DEI hire.

They tried to install Hlilary in the White House and failed, so why not try again, with an even more politically correct candidate?

Besides, Harris is more qualified for the job than Trump, having been an experienced trial lawyer / DA, state senator, and VP.
