Hegseth makes flu vaccine optional.

Quote:
Public health officials reacted to today’s decision negatively. “The policy ignores warnings that more flu illness will mean more missed duty days, more hospitalizations and more preventable readiness losses,” said Richard Riccardi, PhD, of the George Washington University Center for Health Policy and Media Engagement, in a university press release. “Troops live and work in close quarters, where influenza can spread quickly and sideline otherwise healthy service member.”

Because Mission readiness is not as important as being able to reject a flu vaccine based on sheer nonsense.

Former GOP Rep. Devin Nunes is saying goodbye to Trump Media after he was fired as CEO, following reports that the company recorded a $712 million net loss last year.

In a press release issued by Donald Trump Jr. on behalf of the Board of Directors, they thanked Nunes for his work at the Truth Social parent company and named Kevin McGurn as the new interim CEO. "I want to thank Devin Nunes for his dedicated service to the Company over the past four years, and congratulate Kevin McGurn on his appointment as Interim CEO," the statement read.

Lordy.

It's cute that the idiots promote Texas as Democratic, when it was nothing more than a government vote. Whereas Virginia was a public referendum.

Virginia was a brave show of Democracy. Red fools should cope harder.

After the Vote, a Judge Just Upended Virginia’s Redistricting Plan

It didn't take long. On Wednesday afternoon, Tazewell Circuit Court Judge Jack Hurley Jr. ruled that Tuesday's referendum is unconstitutional and issued an injunction preventing the certification of the election maps. Judge Hurley has also denied any motion to stay his ruling pending appeal.

Judge Jack Hurley, a Republican appointee, declared the Democratic-backed measure unconstitutional on multiple grounds, permanently blocking the state from implementing new congressional maps. Attorney General Jay Jones vowed an immediate appeal.
Wednesday's ruling was not Hurley's first attempt to stop the amendment. He issued similar rulings blocking the measure in January and again in February — and both times, the Virginia Supreme Court stepped in to allow the process to move forward while it considered the underlying legal questions.

Sadly, the legal eagles who advised on this may have f***ed up. I hate unforced errors.

But, maybe not.

I'm against Gerrymandering
Always have
Always will
But
If one side insists on it , the other side must

I hear DeSantis wants to gerrymander FL. Republicans are actually fighting him on this. If they have say a 15 to 20 point advantage, gerrymander would cut that to 5 to 10 points which might not be enough to overcome the Trump stench come midterms
