Once again, if you have to justify what your party does by using MTG as ‘the bar’, it shows you have lost! Telling me something is not worthy of scorn because MTG also does it is a LOSING argument! Jayapal, Gaetz, Omar, Boebert, Tlaib, Santos, MTG… How do these people get elected??

Everyone who didn't object to what she did is complicit.

Besides, Republicans went after Biden's son, whereas Dems weren't going after Pete's mother. His mother is the good person in that scenario. Is she not?

They get elected by the same people who voted for Donny. MTG is an elected Republican member in good standing of the US House of representatives. She has the right and prerogative to introduce pictures, words and statements into the record during committee hearings and during House sessions. As much as anyone her voice is heard and acknowledged on an equal standing with every other House member. If the GOP didn't object then to the Hunter nudes, and if you didn't object then or now, that makes you complicit. And it makes the GOP complicit. Deal with it.

I DO object to most everything MTG does. That’s why I don’t call myself a Republican anymore; I call myself an ‘anti-Democrat’.

I hate to say it, but DeSantis would likely be a better choice for Secretary of Defense. Pretty sure he will be using it for a steppingstone to the Presidency again. You get more national public exposure over time in that job, although, for a Gov. he's been in the news often enough.

He's one of 3 in the news leaked. I don't know how accurate that is though.

Will we need random breathalyzer tests for the Secretary of Defense?

He's term limited as Governor, and Sec. of Defense would only last a few years at best. Better off looking long term and appointing himself as Senator Rubio's replacement.

First Elon Musk came over, then Zuckerberg was at Mar-A-Lago kissing Trump's ass this week and now he's on board to work with Trump and today it's Jeff Bezos who's praising Trump up and down. This is the guy who owns the newspaper who did nothing but trash Trump for his entire presidency. He's the latest billionaire who wants on board the gravy train that is going to be the Trump Administration. The economy is going to boom and they know it and they want in on the ground floor. They didn't get to be billionaires by being stupid.

Become SecDef for a few years, then run for Prez or Rubio's seat in 2 years.
