But she’s not the worst female African American Democrat congresswoman in the news today. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick got indicted for stealing millions in FEMA funds.

When a politician becomes a felon his or her party should insist, he or she step down, resign. Not making up fake clearance of charges.

As of November 20, 2025, there are no currently serving members of the U.S. Congress who are convicted felons.

And none in the Judiciary.
