If US Troops go on Iranian soil, Netanyahu should be sending the proper proportion of Israeli troops as well.

They won't. There are already articles getting conveniently published about how Israeli troops have fatigue and need a break. And, no allies will help. U.S. troops will be on their own, once more into the sausage grinder in a war that does nothing for us.

Not only should Israeli troops go, they should be leading at the front AFAIC.

We are not the proxy military for Israel.

The jews are probably lobbying the fat oaf to drop neutron bombs (or their equivalent) across the entire countryside of Iran and also on Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen to once and for all destroy their sworn enemies and all living things while leaving the infrastructure (oil) intact.

It would work...probably, but with a bit of blow back from the rest of the world.

Hmm...food for thought...why not kill them all?

Problem solved, yes?

We have the tech to do it, and a Mad Man with no guard rails...so why not Go For It?

Let's say you have a magic bottom that instantly wipes out 100% of the Iran population. Let's even say you can do this with zero damage to resources and infrastructure (you can't in real life by the way, to do this you would have to destroy everything of value, and then what?)

But, let's say you can safely remove 100% of the population while fully preserving all resources and infrastructure. What would happen? You don't think every regional power would be fighting over the territory. It would be a mess overnight. Probably worse than it is now. And, probably a worse government would end up in power.

Oh, I agree, it would open Pandora's Box.

I do think the USA has the ability to kill all life in Iran's cities and towns without damage to resource and infrastructure: I mentioned the Neutron Bomb, but that is very old tech.

I've no clue what the USA currently can put into play via ERW (enhanced radiation weapon): the original neutron bomb was a low yield device.

Do we have newer weapons which are based on that principal or on as yet a unknown to me principal which can cover a much wider area?

Dunno...but I wouldn't be surprised.

I mean, who wouldn't want a Super Weapon that kills the enemy but leaves everything else as is?

Win-win, yes?

He's so f***ing ridiculous.

He is throwing everything at the window and seeing what sticks. He has zero principles.

Personally, he should stop the war, claim victory and leave the strait closed, who cares, gas and fertilizer will just be a bit higher for a little while. But, we already threw too many American bodies into the sausage grinder for no reason on this one.

The fat oaf has his blubbery back against the wall on this one.

This war is the antithesis of what MAGA supposedly stands for, i.e. "America First," and it has caused much dissension in the MAGA ranks; with mid-terms coming up he needs to project actual political leadership to assist the republicans in keeping power.

He realizes that the democrats are just lying in wait to impeach him again, and hey, "third time's the charm."

The goofball is trying to navigate a slippery slope: almost as bad as trying to ascend a mountain of ice while shod in ice skates.

Not surprised. Our Republican congress won’t stand up to all his nonsense and acting like he’s normal. They’ll follow him right off a cliff.

“Italy denied permission for U.S. military aircraft to land at the Sigonella Air Base in Sicily before heading to the Middle East, Reuters reported Tuesday, saying Washington had not sought prior authorization from Rome.

France has also refused overflight for planes carrying U.S. military supplies to Israel, according to President Donald Trump, marking a rare disruption to routine military coordination between Washington and key European allies.

Their refusals carry operational weight because U.S. bases in Europe — including those in Italy — are "essential" for supporting Middle East operations, acting as critical staging and transit hubs for military aircraft.

MULTIPLE ALLIES DECLINE US CALLS FOR STRAIT OF HORMUZ SUPPORT AMID RISING MIDDLE EAST TENSIONS
The move marks the latest sign of growing friction between the United States and European allies as President Donald Trump ramps up pressure on NATO partners to support operations tied to the war with Iran.

John Hemmings, director of the National Security Centre at the Henry Jackson Society, a London-based foreign policy think tank, told Fox News Digital the decision reflects deeper tensions.
