Exactly, people need to log this. Because on the campaign trail he will be parading around talking about how he was against the War. And, nobody on the right will be like, "bro you were VP and had full access to everything, maybe you should have done something if that is true?

If I thought a war was illegal and immoral, and I was second in like below the person making the decision, I would do everything in my power to make my voice heard. I wouldn't make vague passing statements on how I academically opposed the war.

Are you aware we have a Constitution? What is a VP supposed TO DO when he has a differing opinion than the President? You do realize he has NO AUTHORITY to pretty much DO anything, right?!?

If Biden invaded a country illegally, I imagine Harris would have at least made a public statement and rallies the cabinet in opposition.

If you are going to claim to be the sole voice standing against an illegal war, but the limit of your opposition is vague nuanced statements you leak to the news, pretending to be leaked by an assistant, this does not count.

Vance gets zero credibility as an Anti-War candidate.

Also, even if you think the war was legal up to this point (it wasn't,) if they don't get Congressional approval by close of business today, it is undeniably illegal.


Edit: also, I meant to add, Harris did not run on opposing Biden. If she did, she better have had a large amount of examples. I guarantee Vance will run on opposing Trump, and being the "lone voice of reason.". If he runs on a platform of supporting Trump on every decision, then he is not obligated to cite actions that he took to check him. But, I suspect he will run on opposing the Iran war.

There's a reason why John Adams once famously described the vice presidency as "the most insignificant office that ever the invention of man contrived or his imagination conceived". Adams felt underutilized and powerless, also writing that "as I can do neither good nor Evil, I must be born away by Others". He wasn't wrong.

Three reasons Trump may be holding off on another attack on Iran that they aren't admitting but could be true.

1 Iran may be planning human shields again. (He probably personally doesn't care about killing women, but probably realizes he can't get away with killing kids.)
2 Other countries (not Israel) in the area are telling Trump they have vulnerable facilities that could get hit in a new round.
3. We ARE really low on sustainable level of arms needed to maintain an adequate arsenal. Btw, if true, it's definitely something Kegsbreath is going to lie about.
