There is very little international "law" about anything, so Israel's nukes [yes everybody knows they have them] violate no law. A country can sign the non-proliferation treaty and be in violation of that. India, Israel, and Pakistan never signed the treaty and North Korea withdrew.

Israel never tested a nuke officially but is believed to have done so. The day after Iran tests one, expect Israel to also test openly. Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and I expect others, won't be far behind. Many countries have incomplete programs in place I understand, but I don't have a list.

Iran is not violating anything, they are not building weapons. Israel has and continues to obtain weapons, based on their behavior, I am more worried about them.

I think we can be sure they would only use them in dire circumstances, which might be 'first use' if Iran obtains nukes.

I do think Iran only wants to achieve the status that North Korea has, and does not plan to use nukes in a 'first use' scenario. Israel is more likely to do that, in the scenario above, so you might consider that one sliver of agreement with you

Obviously I am talking about nuclear weapons based on the thread when I say "weapons," sure they are continuing to obtain, firearms, knives, and probably all kinds of small arms, got me there.....




But, yes, Iran would not use them except to have them as a deterrence. And, this war is a prime example. I do not believe that Iran would start nuking random countries in the middle east...

No they would not.

Iran has only attacked Israel twice, both in self defence (after Israel starting bombing them.)

I see no reason to think Iran would target Israel with nukes. If they nuked Israel, they would be nuked off the planet, no country would do this.

Yes, every official map shows Israel as "occupied" territory. Iran does not recognize Israel. They would not nuke Israel. They want the land to be liberated from Israel, if they nuke that tiny bit of land, nobody will have it.

If Iran could wave a magical wand and have the government and all Israelis removed, they probably would. They would not nuke the land.
