Yes, every official map shows Israel as "occupied" territory. Iran does not recognize Israel. They would not nuke Israel. They want the land to be liberated from Israel, if they nuke that tiny bit of land, nobody will have it.

If Iran could wave a magical wand and have the government and all Israelis removed, they probably would. They would not nuke the land.

On the flip side
Would Isreal go nuclear if Iran bombed a school killing 119 Jewish children?
I still can't get over this atrocity
119 children killed and they never saw it coming.
They had absolutely no idea the US declared war that day
We dont have the capability or authority of preventing a nation from obtaining technology that's over 85 years old

Authority from who?

I think we are proving we do have that capability.

119? That’s a drop in the bucket compared to the 10 fold slaughter on 10/7 in Israel. Best I can recall Israel didn’t use any nuclear weapons. But I would prefer if Israel did not have nuclear weapons. I don’t think their ‘deterrent value’ is greater than the actual use risk’.

As far as the ‘authority’ part, I’ve always wondered about that. If I’m Iran, I don’t necessarily want nukes, but I sure as hell want them if Israel/USA has them.

I do agree with you about the difficulty about getting over the school bombing and killing of the school children. I don’t have confidence in ever finding out the truth about what happened. I do not believe it was intentional. There is NOTHING good for the US in that result. And it’s not like Hamas/Hezbollah that put missile launchers in schools and hospitals hoping to get a PR boost when Israel takes them out.

We dont have the capability
We dont have the capability to prevent Iran from becoming nuclear
We dont have the capability to even keep the Strait open
We have the capability to kill lots of people but that's meaningless.
Look at Viet Nam. We killed a lot of people and still lost
We are losing in Iran. They can keep the Strait closed. They can keep their uranium
How many children were killed on 10/7 ?????????
How many Palestinians vs Isralis killed in current war
75k vs 1.5k
Talk about one side being blood thirsty
You even gloat about the number of Iranians killed by the US and they didn't attack us
As to the 119 children killed by American bombs or missiles
Nothing else in the history of the planet has this many children been killed by another country
The only thing that comes close numbers wise are weather related or industrial related
