OK. And you and Ed both knew they were not targeting what they knew was a girl's school until this valiant effort to convince yourself otherwise. I don't suppose you'd consider the Iranians might have wanted the accident to happen? Pretty evil if so, but I think we know who is capable of such evil and who is not.

I mean Iran opened that girl's school long before we attacked them. I am sure they love the PR they get from the "evil West slaughtering Iranian girls trying to be educated."

If after the war started they swapped a school and an Army office that would be a valid point. But, the Army moved out and gave that building to the school a while ago (long before the recent wars,) so you can't even act like Iran planned this (though they will certainly milk it.)

In my opinion Iran is milking the tragedy. But, I frankly don't blame them, it was a pretty huge mess up, and acting like it's no big deal is absurd. If somebody bombed a school in the U.S., intentional or not, we would be losing our minds.

Why shouldn't any country that wants to develop nuclear weapons?

I agree with you completely. No country can tell any other country what they are allowed to have. I am shocked that countries like Iran and terrorist nations aren't just buying them from Russia. With how corrupt Russia is I would think everything would be available for purchase. Maybe not state sanctioned but some corrupt officer would definitely sell one.
At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent.

Because the Russian and the Chinese aren't stupid. They keep tight command and control of their nukes, just like we do, in part to prevent a corrupt officer from doing such a ting and causing a lot of people to have a very bad day.

I wonder if the Ukrainians tried to grab any of the nukes when the USSR imploded?

Hmm...they gave all the nukes back to Russia in exchange for "security assurances."

Wonder if they regret that today?
