Trump tells all federal DEI offices and programs to close up shop by end of business today!

The man is going at light speed. As the left wing goes ballistic over this he will be doing some other great improvement set for tomorrow.

People working them are being put on paid leave, hopefully that is only very short term as in the real world when your office closes you go file for UC.

One of life's lessons that a lot of people never learn is never screw somebody over that can screw you over 10 times worse if he gets the chance. They tried to screw over Donald Trump every way from Sunday and what they did is put him back in the position to screw them back 100 times worse. And do not think he will not do it, it's what keeps him going every day. People like to say that Trump does not hold a grudge and I say bologna, he holds grudges for decades. Good for him.

Wow...those "bone spurs" he has haven't slowed him down a bit.

Amazing.

Lake browning is not a new phenomenon. It’s happened numerous times in Earth’s history in response to climate shifts or other changes in local conditions. But generally it would unfold much more slowly, over centuries or longer. “In the northern part of the United States, for example, it would take about 1,000 years for that kind of change in color to happen naturally,” Saros explains. “I never thought such a dramatic change could happen in less than a year,” she says. A related, rapid change has been noted in some of Alaska’s rivers, also in response to permafrost thaw. It’s ecological modification at hyper speed.

Thing is they have no idea that it took 1000 years because they do not have 1000 years of records. We do not have records for even 500 years in North America let alone 1000.

The past two years — 2023 and 2024 — leapfrogged ahead. They were about 0.2 degrees Celsius hotter than expected — a number that sounds small but represents about a decade-worth of warming at current rates.

You better hope that's true that global warming is happening because we know for a fact we've had ice ages and another one is coming because why wouldn't it be. Global warming would be the best thing that ever happened to the planet as far as growth goes. I know I know you think the it's going to get so hot that the all the polar caps are going to melt and blah blah blah. Pull your head out of that really dark place and get realistic. The truth is another Ice Age is coming we know this because we've had so many of them in the past, there's no reason not to have another one. But it probably won't be for a while so we have a chance to get ready for it this time. Don't you think it's amazing that thermometers get better every year and as they get better and better comparing the temperatures we have now against the ones a few years ago are always on the side of the alarmists? Lol

Like you said a few weeks ago when Trump started deporting illegals, you said your life hasn't changed at all because of it. I'm saying my life has not changed one iota because of global warming. It's still cold as hell here in the winter, far far too cold for far far too long.

You are trying to explain logic to a guy who says $47,000 for a “transgender opera” in Colombia is not waste.

I saw this.

It's hard to argue against actual evidence. Even if "hottest ever" only goes back 10 years with some of these reporting spots [the Yukon
?] the data was expected to show lower temps with the oncoming La Niña , and didn't .

I have to tell you, though, that "hottest January ever" is a hard sell on the East Coast here, and for sure where I live
