I had no idea who Andy Cohen was before this post and do not watch any of the NYE broadcasts, but it seems that the Youtube comments (both sides) are mostly in favor of what he said...so they should keep him! It's not many people that can bring the Right & Left together...and then to make many of them New Yorkers on top of that!? He should probably get some kind of award.

That doesn't mean you don't have to balance the rights of the many against the rights of the individual.

I've heard plenty of righties use the ends justify the means for their own hard line takes on exercising power. Like endorsing torture for terrorists.
