A man, 19, reported July 28 that he was involved in a possible scam after sending a shirtless picture of himself on Instagram to a supposed woman.

He said the suspect altered the photo, so it appeared his pants were around his ankles and he was exposed. The suspect then requested $100 to avoid having the photo shared with all the man’s contacts.

Gotta think Jones may have a strong claim for legal malpractice, as one of the key roles of an attorney is to maintain and not disclose confidential communications and client secrets.

Oops, sorry.

I bet his attorney has Hershey squirts.

Saw this interaction on Twitter:

I am baffled by what happened in the Jones trial. So his lawyers accidentally send his entire phone to opposing counsel. Then when notified about this, they fail to make any privilege claim OR, apparently, to alert their own client?? What? How? Why?

Response from a lawyer:

A problem w/ trying to undo the blunder is it would have forced them inform the court that prior discovery demands/orders were no doubt violated. The failure to tell the client is simply inexplicable.

His lawyer's name: F. Andino Reynal.

This may not be the last time you see it in the news, either associated with a legal malpractice claim or, unhappily, an obit due to suicide.

I'm not saying this lawyer SHOULD kill himself, but he certainly COULD and due to the stunning degree of displayed incompetence that might be best.

I wish more lawyers committed sepuku.

My question us what sentence does a Russian citizen get for the same crime? I have no idea but if they also get 9 years I don't have a problem with it.
At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent.

Alex Jones trial: Jury awards one set of Sandy Hook parents $4 million in compensatory damages.

There will still be another trial to determine punitive damages.

She got totally hosed
She got a drug trafficker sentence
Reality is that it was a small amount for personal use

It is just part of the negotiations. Now they can trade her for a Russian spy who was given 9 years in the US. The 9 years made it an equal trade.

I don't like that trade
