June job openings down 400,000.

Jobless claims up 6,000 to 260,000.

July Non-farm payrolls 528,000. If Biden's BLS can be trusted.

Media is once again spinning the numbers as 'jobs created'.

These are not jobs created, if the number of job openings decreased 400,000.

These are people forced to find second and third, low paying jobs, to help pay the bills.

These are not quality jobs created, when hospitals and banks are starting to lay off, and Tech is laying off tens of thousands.

Click bait for the total morons, and that is all that matters.

lol

We never hear anything like this during a GOP presidency when righties are bragging about jobs numbers.

Hypocrites.

Exactly. because the job numbers are legitimate under the GOP not massaged BS.

Yup, gas prices plummeting.
Amazing jobs report.
What do righties have to bitch about?

You hear that? Sounds like a “caravan” heading our way from some Central American country.

Oil is down to under $90 a barrel. We should see another $0.50 or so off of a gallon of gas soon.

It should help for sure, refining capacity is still an issue so not sure we get ($0.50) out of it.
Breaking $4 sure would be nice. That would make gas only up 62% since The House Plant took office.
Gas was $2.90 right as the Dems dropped $1.9T on the economy in unnecessary Stimulus Give Aways
I got my first Covid Vaccine Shot shortly thereafter, Covid was going to be over with widespread vaccine availability.
But the Inflation die was cast without a single GOP vote. Well done Brandon!

Cool
No doubt those that blamed Biden for gas going up, give him no credit when it drops

The price of oil is down due to a decrease in demand and uncertainty over a looming recession. Consumers are tapped out.

What jobs increase?

Numbers in thousands:

Total Employed May 2022: 158,426

Total Employed July 2022: 158, 290

There were 136,000 more people working in May than in July. The economy lost 136,000 jobs over the past two months.

More Americans are working part-time — a potential harbinger of future jobs market instability

'The Bureau of Labor Statistics on Friday reported the number of such workers, called “involuntary part-time workers,” increased by a seasonally adjusted 303,000 in July, to 3.9 million. That follows a sharp decrease of 707,000 in June.'

We should see a fall but then it will move back up. IIRC "winter gas" is more expensive to produce. But is nice seeing it drop.

I see that N Korea is willing to send 100,000 "volunteers" to fight with their Russian buddies against Ukrainians.

https://news.yahoo.com/north-korea-offers-russia-100-202056174.html

Hey, why don't we round up all of our homeless, call them "volunteers" and ship them to Ukraine?

See ya...
