Three days ago, the NYT published an article defending the Michigan based election software company Konnech, from attacks by what they called 'election deniers'.

The group 'True the Vote', claimed the company had ties to China.

'Using threadbare evidence, or none at all, the group suggested that a small American election software company, Konnech, had secret ties to the Chinese Communist Party and had given the Chinese government backdoor access to personal data about two million poll workers in the United States, according to online accounts from several people at the conference.'

'But the attacks on Konnech demonstrate how far-right election deniers are also giving more attention to new and more secondary companies and groups. Their claims often find a receptive online audience, which then uses the assertions to raise doubts about the integrity of American elections.'

The next day, the CEO of Konnech, Eugene Yu, was arrested on allegations he was "storing critical information that the workers provided on servers in China'. Exactly what True the Vote claimed he was doing.

Every state should allow early voting and mail voting
It's absurd the different laws in every state regarding voting. Every American should have the same equal access to voting. Your access level should not depend on the state you live in.

I totally agree every state should be the same and follow the rules for secure voting. In person paper ballots for everyone. It is absurd that some states allow insecure voting.

I jurist don't get this every time it happens. Only time I've ever seen dogs out of control and attack anyone is they are either abused or it's a stranger.

Pit bulls are said to get triggered by certain things and they have a strong predator instinct. I would imagine in a case like this, the kids showed fear and that triggers it.

I would like to believe I could control any dog I raised , no matter what triggered it. In cases like these, the mother may have no such ability or confidence. It can even happen that a certain dog weighs almost as much as the woman.

I still don't get it. I've seen plenty of dogs get used to other small darting animals in a household. There's many examples of predator and prey animals you can raise with each other without having an animal get confused and go on an attack. Ones that normally would eat the other one for food.

Of course there's things like with Roy Horn and the white tiger. But with an animal of that size and strength one bite in the wrong place and you're done for, you don't have to be mauled.
