I think the only higher ranking BLM person that did anything dumb was this Pamela Moses, but they dropped charges. The law seems draconian , admittedly

Mostly the rioters/protestors have been given this leeway, charges dropped or not arrested in the first place ... unless they killed someone. Oh, the lawyers [law students?] who threw Molotov cocktails at police cars 'got theirs' ... I was glad to see that

Those two lawyers were seen attempting to hand out molotov cocktails to protesters during one of the riots in May 2020. She was seen by police tossing a molotov into a marked, unmanned police car. The police caught them after a brief pursuit and they were arrested.

Both were soon released under the state no bail no jail law. Charges would probably have been dropped as they were for the other two thousand protesters that were arrested.

The feds immediately stepped in and charged them with federal crimes.

They will be sentenced next month. Prosecutors are asking for two year sentences for the dirtbags.

That is the issue with America is the escalation, gun crime is bad, and escalation is bad, but the only way you can defend against a crazy person shooting at you in an open scenario with no cover (IE on a highway) is to shoot back. It forces proliferation because nobody feels safe if they do not carry their own gun.

Yesterday, following more bad news on inflation, the Dow fell 549 points. Then at 11AM, it switched direction, for a 1,300 point turnaround. Every sector was up at the close.

The Fed can move the markets with their own purchases. It has a seat on the Exchange.

The Treasury Dept can also move the market with it's $220 billion 'Exchange Stabilization Fund', which can be used to stabilize the market.

It is rigged worse than the slots at the Stardust when Rosenthal ran the joint.

Here's the thing, and I just noticed this yesterday. Interest rates are still lower than any time this century. Look up the Federal Funds Rate and see! In the mid 2000s Greenspan tried to clean some of the mess he made by boosting them back. I was working at a bank, my boss's boss, or IOW someone who should have known more than me, was fretting about the "high rates." I explained that we were getting back to normal and in the late 1990s the prime rate (not Funds rate) was almost 10% at times. We were at 4% then.

I do not think she was high enough up to be an insider, but she had supervisors under her. Middle management. And she did not get this.

Point is it was done to rescue markets after the 2000 crash. And it kept being done since. The Fed went from currency protection and system liquidity to making sure the markets all stayed stable.

Of course, this is because all the retirements need to be paid out. Market crashes and we have tens of millions of seniors going broke, they would need to be taken care of.

So it will repeat and repeat. All you can do is learn about it and profit from it. Then just watch for black Econoline vans looking to scoop you up and send you to a camp.
