Time Traveler's Wife on HBO. What a disappointing pile of crap. This guy travels through time and always arrives buck naked so we get to see his bare ass five or six times in every episode. There's no substance here, it's all about him chasing his future wife. He goes back to see her when she's a child of 9 10 12 years old 154 times and he's an adult in his forties. He's grooming her to be his future wife and it's disgusting. Grooming is a big No-No now, especially where gay men hang out with young boys to groom them for later sex. This series makes no sense, sometimes he time travels to exactly the same spot from the future six or eight times at once so there is six or eight of him walking around looking at themselves. At one point he's 16 years old in bed with his 16-year-old self giving himself a blowjob. And this woman he's chasing is a big nothing burger. She's barely attractive, bitchy, boring, preachy, basically about everything men run away from in a woman. Of course this was written by a woman so it all makes sense. No man would ever write garbage like this. Women love to have the fantasy that no matter what they look like or how they act there's some Prince Charming out there who will put up with all her crap and chase them to the ends of the Earth. Real life is nothing like that.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Recently:

Hacks: S2 on HBO Max - love this show

Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney+ - four episodes in and I’m pretty sure this is just plain bad. Poorly made, cheap looking. Just depressing

Stranger Things 4 on Netflix- dare I say this may be my favorite season yet? I love the 80’s slasher references, particularly the Nightmare on Elm Street vibe. They even put Robert Englund in there.

You mean real life 75 year old Robert Englund or some old video footage or CGI Robert Englund at age 37.

75 year old Robert Englund. He’s not playing Freddy.

We are binging "All American" on Netflix. I'm surprised we hadn't watched it before. It's based on a true story, about a hi school football kid that has exceptional skills on the field.

These are the titles of the shorts (5 minutes to 25 minutes) in Netflix Oats Studios – Volume 1 –
Rakka,
Firebase,
Cooking With Bill,
God,
Zygote,
Bad President,
Adam (Episode 2 and 3),
Gdansk and
Kapture: Locust.

Extremely Violent! The most uncomfortable episode to sit through was Cooking With Bill, and the one that’s going to haunt me for quite some time is ‘God: Serengeti/Chicago’.

Do you have to watch the movie first or is it completely unrelated?
