Selectel Wireless has probably the best value in "pay as you go" plans using Verizon network. http://www.selectelwireless.com/wireless-plans/ For $75 you have 2000 talk minutes and 2000 texts and a year to use them. That is less than 2 cents per minute or per text. I don't know if they have rollover or not, but at that rate it seems like you shouldn't have to worry about it. Even if you need a 1000 minutes for such an emergency, the worst that will happen is that you will use up your minutes before the year is up, and have to spend another $75 before the end of the year. |

That's about what I have with TracFone. Except it's 500 min a year, which I never even use half of. I go months without turning it on. I use Google phone when I'm home, it's free. I really am not a big talker. I make a lot of posts, but they are short and to the point. Saying them out loud would take no time. I go days and days without speaking to anyone but my dog. I send my wife emails, she always gets irritated about something if we talk on the phone. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
