You drink milk as an adult? It's pure sugar, no wonder you're fat. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Never heard of cereal and water for breakfast. I was well off the scales today...looks like it would be about 330 if it was graduated beyond 300. |

Good god, you eat CEREAL? Are you 8 years old? Pure carb and sugar, you're lucky you don't weigh 400 pounds. For lunch every day I eat an avocado and a can of sardines. Wonder food. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Dalex64 Member since: Mar 8, 2014 Threads: 3 Posts: 3687 | An 8 oz glass of milk contains 12g of sugars, 4% of your recommended daily value. Also, that is a natural sugar, not a refined sugar such as high fructose corn syrup, and sugar isn't added to the milk as a sweetener. Adults have no business drinking milk, especially obese elderly people. 12g of sugar, I don't eat that much in a week. Adults Should Not Be Drinking Milk Fact: Milk is for babies and children. If you are an adult—i.e., not a baby or child—you should not be drinking milk. 60% of adults cannot digest milk properly. https://jezebel.com/adults-should-not-be-drinking-milk-1685033047 If you take a risk, you may lose. I agree with 2 exceptions, *really good buttermilk once in a while *a bottle of milk immersed in ice water on a hot day about once a summer. Not just refrigerated, but as cold as it can get this way without freezing. Maybe even salt the ice for a bit. Life is good! I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me] |

Sugar is sugar. Fructose, that occurs naturally in fruit, is actually worse for you than cane or milk sugar. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Nothing is pure sugar except sugar. Milk is pure sugar to me. I don't eat sugar, haven't since 1973. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
